I love this article. It is very true that in America we value the prucodt as well as the prize. I don't know if it is an unconscious part of our culture, or whether it is innately human. I don't think it is particularly American. I wonder if other cultures are just a bit older, a bit more disgusted with unjust wealth, but are a bit more resigned. our culture sprang from a wealth explosion from whaling and trading, and then from agriculture trade, so we worked VERY hard for our wealth in the states, and then the Revolution ensured that unjust hands were not taking it away. The question may be, however, is this: As America ages, and the Federal government bloats itself up to counter the rise in the populace's power, will we continue to wage revolution to hold onto our earnings? This is a culture battle right now. Do others deserve the money that is a representation of our labor, or do we give it freely to help others? Socialism vs. Free Enterprise. Free parking is more Socialistic, in that the bad luck/vices of others is used to pay for the lucky ones. It is a lottery which discourages hard work in lieu of waiting for the big payout that was unearned. In my hopefully rational opinion, I would rather see more Good people giving their money to others, than have a System punish more and take forcefully to give to others.Of course, my opinion relies on the goodness of people and that goodness is usually a result of discipline and good teaching/action. If discipline in a culture wanes, and a lack of general good, the government moves to become more powerful and give to those who were supposed to be provided for in the first place by the communities wealthy.Eh, what a pendulum. Good article Andrew. http://zmiesnxs.com jffuqsoe [link=http://bwxdbacg.com]bwxdbacg[/link]
